You're proving your point by making us either admit we don't care about Britpicking or we think about ticking, marmalade, and boxes all together (some people's peccadilloes are private!!) :)

It wasn't offered, but I think Britpicking is very important and know I enjoy fics that have it much more (caveat if the author has a particular established style and it doesn't fit with the style).

Now, can I have that marmalade please?

Lack of Britpicking in HP drives me crackers.

I have no idea what's going on in HP fandom, but I find the posts valuable because I'm still writing my stuff, which I have denuded of pretty much everything Rowlingian on account of I like my stuff better than hers. :)
