Well, given that my entire family is composed of die-hard Republicans who indulgently tolerate my black sheep pinko commie bleeding heart liberal feminist socialist ways... *g* I certainly have no beefs with your being Conservative. Life would be awfully boring if we all fell in lockstep philosophically, or at least that's what I point out to various family members on the increasingly rare occasion they bemoan how far I've strayed from the flock. (I think they're finally becoming used to having a Democrat in the family. It's only taken twenty years...)

As a citizen of Massachusetts, I will admit my bitter dismay with our elected Brown, although I am amused by the rest of America's belief that a Massachusetts Republican is anything at all like the usual Republicans haunting our capital...
