so 1st skins ;) i guess the opening episode scared me that much because i'm really sensitive when it comes to topics that effect the youth of today. i don't know i just step out of the house every day watching those 13 years old girls walking around like effy, drinking alcohol before school, smoking etc. and even if it's just a tv show it's just too much this time. In s1 and 2 doing drugs, smoking, partying everything was just fun and playful and i loved to watch. but now the characters are younger and the stories are even crazier. i'm really not a saint myself but the writers should be a little more careful with their show and how they could affect young teenagers...
2nd One Tree Hill. thank you so much for this! i could relate to everything you said! <33

Sorry for this late reply - last week was like hell for me, I've been busy with Uni! But I really wanted to reply, because I loved our ideas-sharing :D About Skins, I know what you mean. The very first time I watched the show, with S1, I was kind of 'shocked' because all this drugs and smoking and stuff was 'unexpected' to be seen in a tw show, at least for me - that's why now I am not shocked anymore, because I got used to seeing it. Plus, I kind of assumed that now Effy & co. are as 'grown up' as Tony & co. during S1 ;) I know this might influence younger people, I couldn't agree more with you, though. I think the show is rated in some countries!
I'm glad you share my point of view about NH - it is taken too seriously and it's some kind of 'cold war' when you just say that you like seeing Nathan with someone else, even just as friends - I remember being bashed when I was squee-ing during s4, when NP had a couple of friendship moments (4x03 and 4x13, I think) and I realized OTH fangirling has definitely gone too far ^^
