YES, it was fantastic. For many reasons! Admittedly, some of them were shallow reasons, but even besides that it was SO GOOD. He's crazy talented (also, not objecting to the shirtlessness), and so is everyone else. I think I'm going to see it Saturday again...

I certainly didn't have baser motives for coming to see the sho (like my pun?), but I was actually blown away by his talent. I was so moved when he sang 'I don't care much', and the last picture of the emcee grinning in the concentration camp uniform was terribly powerful. Also, Cliff's faces during the number at the party were dead on. Oh, it was brilliant!

Oh, he was AMAZING. I knew he was incredibly talented, but his role in Urinetown wasn't as demanding as this was, and Mercutio was just...shirtless. Very well-done, but mostly...shirtless. NOT THAT I'M OBJECTING. But really, he's fantastic. "I Don't Care Much" was great, and he was properly very very very creepy (the end didn't necessarily make me sad; it just made me kind of scared...which I think is better), and everyone was great. It wasn't necessarily a school-appropriate play, but...oh well. IT MADE ME HAPPY.

I think the less school appropriate a play is, the more the students like it. It's like a law of physics.

I haven't seen you act except in CT and such, but you were quite good, so...I'd have to say I agree. And also, even if not, it would still not be that good...last year's was enjoyable simply because we knew people in it and could laugh at school in-jokes, but I can't imagine it would have been enjoyable to anyone who didn't go to our school. And that was with a better director, too, so...fail.

I hope you get in too :D

I didn't even see classics last year...I think I only really got into Hunter theater with the advent of Practicum. This year's classics should prepare for a failure of epic proportions.
Brick...oh god, now I'm going to start thinking about the possibilities of brick casts. Urgh, I think too much.
