Oh My God!

Ok so I've been a little slack with keeping up with the Torchwood fics lately (been kinda stuck on NCIS Tibbs stories of late) and this is the first story I stumble across?

Well, that was quite an introduction to Ianto's father. No wonder he's so distraught, to carry that burden as well as work for Torchwood. Jack is going to have his hands full with this one. Awesome chapter!

thank you so much! ianto's dad does have quite a lot to do with his state of mind and how he is which will be dealt with over the following chapters but will jack be able to help ianto when he keeps pushing everyone away?

oh my god, poor ianto. i had a feeling it was something like that. his dad would be that kind of ass. its no wonder ianto's having nightmares. damn. jack will save him. heh, thast what he's there for.

you're right; lloyd is not an accidental name. i like t omake small references to the actors as i go and like to see who picks up on them; it shows you've been reading properly:D not that i have anything against gdl; i love him but i couldn't have ianto's father being called mr jones as well for the simple reason that a)it would get confusing as to whom i was referring to and b) especially later on, i couldn't write 'what id your opinion of mr jones and mr jones' relationship? it wouldn't work and also, it separates ianto from his father and again, that's jhighlighted more later as it shows ianto doens't feel he is his father as he changed his name and you'll notice that when ianto or jack or anyone on ianto's side refer to ianto's father, they will refer to him as 'lloyd' to show respect to ianto. anyway, i think im getting ahead of myself here but you'll see what i mean in later chapters:P
