Second Valentine Pony, and An Octopus

I finished this second Valentine's Day Pony the other day, and thought I'd upload it here :) Many thanks to legendancer for the link for those cute little hearts! I made the smaller heart pattern and sewed them onto the bottoms of the pony's hooves.

I also made a little octopus, to take a break from the ponies. The pattern is free over at LionBrand.com.

I'm pretty sure it's a standard camera thing -- he shouldn't have been on a blue cover. Digital cameras do an automatic color-balancing thing, and I don't believe it's possible for the camera to determine whether there's a lot of "X-color" in the picture, or if the lighting is dominated by that color and needs to be corrected. Try another picture, sometime on a contrasting (or even plain black & white) background.

However, both critters ARE gorgeous!
