Thanks! I just chose the same color yarn that was used in the book. ;) Not very creative on my part. Haha!

No, it doesn't. Its legs are too flimsy. ;P I usually stick something tiny behind the amis to lean on, and the angle from which I take the photo hides it so it looks like the ami is standing all by itself.
