These are wonderful! I can't believe you did two of them while wearing a cast.
But, I have to ask...shouldn't you be resting your hand??? Tsk tsk. ;)

Thank you, and actually, the thumb is resting, and their is no pain , while I knit, I take frequent breaks, and am aware when I tire. Always very cautious of not over doing it.

They're all very cute and I particularly love the little sandals on the kitties.
I'm curious, do you knit English or Continental when you have the cast?

Thank you, I am a self taught English knitter, I have not changed my method, and am glad I English knit, as the right hand does most of the work, (It was my left hand that had surgery). Now in the future ( heaven forbid) should I need this done on my right hand, it may be a longer wait ....

Oh they are so wonderful!!! You continue to amaze me! Even arm/hand surgery and a cast doesn't slow you much!! And I'm with littleyuzu on this - shouldn't you be resting that hand? ;o) Hopefully you've got the left needle anchored in some way and aren't moving that hand around!!

The two HK's look like twin sisters! So precious! And I can't decide which shoes are more adorable!! Love love them!
Not meaning to slight that cutIe chicken, now. It's just hard to ignore HK cuteness! :o)

eta: to fix typos -sigh- typing on touch screen again
:o&

Thanks hug buddy, about resting the hand, I have actually been in less pain, since I started moving it around a bit, ( I was just telling Grant this) the swelling is less, and no pain pills at night (or day) anymore, in three days the physical therapist is really going to start torchering me, ha ha....
So I may have to pace myself, we will see..

So I guess you could say that you don't have any trouble casting on... with your cast on. :)

He, he, this is a great pun! Made me giggle!
Actually it took me a while to come up with a good way to cast on, as I can not move my thumb much, so I had to improvise my other four fingers to do the work for me. Where there's a will , there is a way!
