Simply, expand your line. Do more generic cats, dogs, etc, not so many anime specific items.

thank you for your reply, you know ,i've seen 46293487 listing of cute animals and fruits and monsters...and thought no one would be interested, since there are so many sellers out there that do just that.

The other thing would be to expand what anime you do and do non-anime fannish items. Offer customs, etc.

Look at what *is* selling, not only on Esty, but check eBay, too.

Maybe it helps if you can attach them to keychains/baghangers (sturdy ones! so they don't break and lose the amigurumis)
Maybe it's just me being a keychain/hanger/phonestrap freak, but imo there's less fun in buying amis and let them stand/lay around somewhere at home than bringing them along and showing them dangling from my bag xD

Yay you welcome! making them smaller then is a good idea too. you can price them cheaper so people will be more likely to buy ^^
Looking forward to it :D

its hard selling on etsy, there's a billion things there
stick to what your good at and make that , in that point I am disagreeing with above that said to make what others do, as they are already making that thing, you need a point of difference to attract buyers

im finding etsy really slow in selling , i think theres just so much there that it makes getting a sale trickier

you need to advertise and promote (but not spam) to people. theres lot of ideas about that on etsy forums and the storque blog.

I have an Etsy store, and it ebbs and flows, sometimes I am swamped with sales, and then it will be at a stand still for a bit, just be patient and keep making those darling dolls, just a hint, but I find patterns sell much better than the finished dolls. Most of your buyers on Etsy are crafty people, and they wanna make the items themselves. Also ADVERTISE on many sites, have a web or blog, Flickr, Etsyhookers team, Deviant Art, Rivelry...etc! Sign up for search engines, get your store name out there on the Web. Good luck.
