What kind of magnets are you using for the Katamari? I couldn't find the one mentioned in the pattern, so I went with cheapo magnets... The result was that the Katamari had a nice weight to it, but absolutely no magnetic power.

I used some magnets I found at Hobby Lobby. They were $1.99 for a pack of 8, and I used 2 magnets in each nub, so it was a little expensive. I haven't been able to find stronger magnets at the local craft stores... I wonder if using thinner yarn on the nubs would help. Hmm.....

I used Redheart verigated yarn. I don't remember the exact color name... It was left over from an afghan I made earlier.
