Gave Eeyore to Andrea, my mother-in-law, today! :D She loved him! I was so excited and so nervous that she wouldn't like him, BUT, Scott (my husband) was right *shhh don't let him know I said that!* and his mom really did like him. :) She practically squee'd when she saw him :) So here's pics:

lots of pics behind the cut! )

How many pieces were there? I'm guessing 7? O_o

10 actually.

Body, Head, Neck, Legs(4), Ears(2), and Tail. I seriously underestimated the assembly time! I started assembly (sewing on felt, hooking in the hair, assembling the body) around 10pm last night and didn't finish until almost 5am, it was insanity!

Cute! I picked up a WtP thread crochet book during my last trip to the used book store. It has Winnie, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger (as well as a honey pot, dragonfly, butterfly, and flower). I hope I can crochet an Eeyore in time for my mom's birthday.

Awww thanks! :D It's time consuming with all the legs and ears and whatnot, but totally worth the time! This was supposed to be for her birthday, but well things happen, so she got him today on Easter. :)

so cute and adorable! He was not my favorite character from Pooh, but now I think he is certainly the cutest among the rest character

thanks! :D Pooh is next on my list for her. She loves all things Pooh, and I bought gold yarn already! :D Now I just need to work up my own pattern for him (haven't found any I like out there.)

I squealed in real life.. and I'm going to admit that is not something that I typically do in anything but internet terms. But seriously, squealed.
I totally just want to rub him on my face because he looks so cute and soft.

Amazing work!
