Vanessa got her stubbornness from her father and as she comforts her mother at 2am for what feels like the hundredth time, she silently hopes that’s all she got.

This broke my heart.

The whole thing was really beautiful, I really enjoyed it.

Aw, thank you and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! That's partly why I love writing about Vanessa; we don't know much about her family so it's wonderful to just take creative liberties like that. :)

this is 10 million types of amazing. seriously.
this was such perfect vanessa characterization for me.

I think you prtrayed Vanessa brilliantly. You're writings great!
I'm pleased that there is some love for Vanessa because I think she's great and people just don't give her a chance. Its lovely to see a fic centred on her!
