Panic and Panda-monium

Okay, not actually panicking. Just in need of a favor.

Hey graphic design types! Does anyone out there have a version of Quark 5 I could, uh, borrow? I have a 44 Mb file that needs to be saved as version 4, but all I've got is 6.1 which only saves down to version 5.
Edit: As it turns out, gilana's computer no longer supports such ancient technology... ( Read more... )

Sure, send me the file. (And I hate that stupid back-saving limitation.)

You are awesome! If my Clever Plan works, your postdiluvian account will be getting a YouSendIt email from my work account, but if it fails, I will email you to figure out a Slight Less Clever Plan. Thank you so much! What a pain in the back-saving-side...

The "Zoo Lights" program might still be up when you're in town.

And yes, I have yet to figure out where and when I want to meet up with the two of you for brunch.

If only pandas did in fact react to mating opportunities with WOOHOOOO! The problem seems to be that their natural reaction is MATING????????? IS THAT LIKE EATING BAMBOO AND NAPPING?????? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I LIKE TO DO. EAT BAMBOO AND NAP. AWAY FROM OTHER PANDAS.

(Pandas communicate in all-caps.)

If I recall, the female pandas are only in heat for 2 days and year, and the males are so oblivious to it, that the females have to WALK BACKWARDS with their butts in the air to get the males to do what they need to do.....

The all-caps thing does take away from the inclination toward napping. Perhaps "Rose Parks" is not necessarily the best pairing for the "Lazy" Apples to Apples card. We'll have to add "Endangered Species" to the list.

Also, I'm pretty sure the panda you were impersonating was channeling dooce or one of her doocelets.
