Hogwarts: a Founding

I have seen many writers assume that the Hogwarts has remained exactly the same since the time of the founding. Fanfiction often describes the first students having very similar experiences to Harry.

Although the founders created what would become Hogwarts School, the modern school we see today evolved slowly over time. The original establishment ( Read more... )

Sorry, I put a link in my last comment which had it automatically marked as spam. :P So I'm writing again on the assumption it is likely to have been deleted.

I just wanted to let you know that a chapter where I used some of your ideas is now up online, and recommending your article in an author's note. :) It's a long series, but if you want to just leap straight into it it's not too a bad chapter to do so in - there's not *too* many spoilers. To give you a little context, at the start of the chapter Harry is talking with an animated mosaic of an old Romano-British wizard which is hidden within the Chamber of Secrets.
