I've now tallied up 3,642 miles on my Versa and just got my first oil/filter change and checkup this weekend. This tank netted me 27.66 MPG while traveling 269.20 miles on it. I needed 9.759 gallons to top off the tank, and it cost $3.689 per gallon for a total of $36.00. Even though it's fewer MPG than the last tank I'm still beating the EPA ( Read more... )

I've now tallied up 3,372 miles on my Versa. This tank netted me 29.7 MPG while traveling 286.8 miles on it. I needed 9.65 gallons to top off the tank, and it cost $3.699 per gallon for a total of $35.70. Hmmm, the downward trend continues. Perhaps it's the heat? Running the AC? Regardless, I've now tallied up 3,085 miles on my Versa. This tank netted me 26.77 MPG while traveling 265.70 miles on it. I needed 9.924 gallons to top off the tank, and it cost $3.829 per gallon for a total of $38.00.

I'm now also posting my MPG stats over at http://www.fueleconomy.gov but will keep posting here as well. At the time of this tank fill, I had gone 2,820 miles and 283.2 miles on the previous tank. Filled up on my way home from Salem on Sunday night. This time I drove 284.10 miles before filling up, and paid $4.039 per gallon for the 9.656 gallons to refill the tank. I averaged about 70% freeway driving (including the trip to Salem) and 30% street/city driving for this tank. I paid $39.00 for the refueling and managed 29.42 MPG!! I've also ( Read more... )

This time I drove 276.8 miles before filling up. I went to the ARCO on 122nd & NE Halsey and paid $4.099 per gallon for the 10.49 gallons it took to fill up. Not sure what happened to my mileage, but I only got 26.39 MPG on this tank. I was out and about this weekend and cruised by the Lents Farmer's Market on Sunday. On my way home via back roads I came across an ARCO with gas priced at $4.11 per gallon. So I filled up. This time I got 8.74 Gallons at $4.119 per gallon for a total of $36.00. I got 27.92 miles per gallon with more city/surface street driving this time. I ( Read more... )
