Last night I had my sixth personal trainer session at the gym. I did a bunch of work in the studio after warming up on the elliptical before the session. You make me miss Houston - here there is no gym & that is about one of two things I miss. I was in SO much better shape.

I am frankly flabbergasted that I want to go to the gym. Many years in the past I had a women's only gym that was only 7 blocks from my house. I ended up paying for 1.5 years worth of membership and think that I managed to make it there only about 7 times? I was spending my own money for that, and still couldn't get myself to go.

Now, my folks are paying for the membership (for now) and have sprung for the personal trainer sessions (this last batch as a birthday gift) and I'm there 4-5 times a week without fail.
