Wish it was still the weekend

Didn't end up doing much overall. Saturday was a bunch of just hanging around waiting to hear about a date that never happened. Sunday I went out to the movies with a guy friend I hadn't seen in years, so that was fun. We saw Pirates 3, and it rocked! We even stayed for the little tidbit vignette after the credits at the end. I still haven't caught all of Hex. I need to do so, before season 2 starts. I can't wait for Torchwood, either. The reviews haven't all been positive, but as a Doctor Who fan, I have to see it!

I'm really looking forward to Doctor Who (David Tennant kind of rocks my world) and Torchwood.

I'm still not sure how I feel about Hex. It was must-see TV for me because of its visual beauty, but it did kind of irk me that the only person who did anything on that show besides have sex and make emo-eyes at others was actually dead. Then BBC America stopped running it-- before the actual end of the first season-- just as people were actually starting to accomplish things. Argh. Hopefully some plotlines will be resolved in the near future. I just wish it hadn't taken them so long to get around to wrapping things up for us.

That's often the way of British series overall though... some of them are only 10-13 episodes per season. I too hope that we get some good stuff on the "new" season. While watching the marathon I discovered why Much on Robin Hood looked so familiar. It's the same actor who plays Jez/fallen angel on Hex!
