I haven't read that one yet, but it seems to me that over the years Feist has become more concerned with quantity versus quality. That said, I still like anything that deals with Midkemia, so I'll keep reading. :)

It just came out a few weeks ago, so that's likely why. It has more Pug, more Nakor, Miranda, and all the other usual suspects, plus travel to a different dimension this time.
