Nothing like a cortisone shot in the hip to start your day

Went to the doctor this morning and got fun x-rays and a shot in the hip. He thinks that I have some bursitis or tendonitis, and that explains why my hip feels like it's gonna fall off. Lovely! Hopefully the cortisone will kick in over the next day or so and get rid of the pain.

Thanks it does! I am going to have to speed up my purchase of a new futon mattress for my couch in the den, because the wood poking in to my hip/seat is exacerbating the problem.
