I love decluttering! I go on binges. I flood my Freecycle group with offers. Most recently I took two full garbage bags of pants that were too big, some sweaters I never wore, some kids' books, and a bunch of kitchen items to a local drop-off place. I got some new pans and knives around Christmas and due to my finite amount of cupboard space some of my old stuff had to go. DH whined that we could have sold some things on Ebay but I said, "I just wanted it out of the house NOW, not four months from now after you dither around with Ebay." Besides, who would buy a pair of very broken-in Gap jeans?

I can't wait to get my kitchen and pantry organized... and my garage will be the real tough job, since I have a pile of boxes in there including ones I moved out of college with back in 1993. You'd think I could just put all that out on the curb, but no... i have to see what is actually in there!
