I think it would be fun to go to see the Cherry Poppin' Daddies at the Crystal Ballroom for Mardi Gras / Fat Tuesday. It's a pretty cheap ticket price for the bands that are playing, and the bonus of the floating / bouncing dance floor ( Read more... )

I figured that would be your reply. If you wanted to shift your potential Daddy Vacay to Portland instead of Seattle, you could have a futon to stay on at my place!

Jeez, I'd love to, but airfare around the 20th is well over $300, probably because of all the Mardi Gras travelers. But I swear, I WILL make it to a Daddies Mardi Gras show. Just not this one, unfortunately. :p

I would feel so much better if they were called the Cherry Poppin' SNIPPIES. 'Cause there's nothing wrong with cherry-poppin', but you really don't want it to result in Daddy.

I'm about 90% sure I can go. Sounds like a nice enough way to spend Mardi Gras!

I really hope you can make it, should be a blast. :) Plus it has the ever important 21 and older only requirement, so no kiddies will be present.
