Lovely dinner party last night

Upon learning that I had given A the boot, my excellent neighbor P invited me over to be a fourth at a dinner party he threw. As usual, everything was excellent. We used his best china, fostoria glassware, had a great appetizer plate with cheese, peppered salami, celery, carrots, crackers and an artichoke spread

It was! I'm trying to decide if I can get organized enough to have a few folks over for NYE... Would just have to make it to the store for some essentials and get some more cleaning in the den and downstairs done. Hmmmmm....decisions, decisions. I'd love to go out for the evening, but don't want to be on transit by myself at 1 AM or something.
