Just checked my ING account and discovered that I've earned almost $127.36 in interest so far this year... approximately $1.17 per day during April! They also just raised the interest rate on the account effective May 1st, 2006 too ( Read more... )

I really need to start an ING account it's on the 'list of getting the finances back in order' after Belize. Do they still have a referral system where if I get a referral number from you, you receive a bonus when I start my account?

I'm thinking ING as well just for savings. I would recommend ditching WAMU altogether and going for a credit union. I have nothing but good things to say about DCU, my primary credit union. Good rates, good service, very few problems.

Keep up the great work with your finances! You really inspire. :)

Thanks! Every time I think of where I was just a couple of years ago, it's really amazing how far I've come. I just wish I hadn't had to go through a bankruptcy to get this fresh start... but some times there really are no other ways out. Let me know if you'd like a referral for ING... if you open an account with more than $250, you get a bonus of $25, and then I'd get the referral bonus of $10. :)

I Love ING for the interest and the fact that it is not readily available. They are good with raising the interest too, I'm happy that technology has finally found a way for me to save!
