Perils of being quick on the draw

In the mail yesterday I received another 1098 Form from the interim mortgage company that showed an additional almost $700 I had paid in mortgage interest in 2005. Having already sent off my taxes electronically, I now have to wait to see if the feds catch my neglect of having that amount in the total, and alter the amount refunded. It's about $

Never fails - this is one reason I don't get more organized than I do - when I get it all together - crap like this happens.... FYI (only know this cause I own a business) - any tax forms only have to be POSTMARKED by 1/31. Meaning they could have mailed them tonight - SOOO best bet is waiting into the second week of Feb. just to make sure everything comes in - Unless you have ONE job, no mortgage, etc.... you see where I'm going...
