Unlike other kinds of pain, this pain immediately vanished the second I was released.
That's why more and more agencies are adding Tasers to their repertoire. Pepper spray is the burn that never ends and batons can break bones and cause internal injuries. Tasing sucks, but it is over when it's over.

I got my sister a civilian Taser. Unlike the 5 second shock of the law enforcement model, the civilian model zaps for 30 seconds. Ouch! They're designed to be left behind and the cool thing about these is that Taser Internation will replace the unit upon receiving a copy of the police report. I never want to be shot with hers though. You're braver than I am.

Wow, 30 seconds! That would be unbearable!

I've watched tasing videos of other people and they get knocked flat to the ground. I'm glad that I was held up. :)

I laughed a few times through this and really enjoyed it. I have been curious to know how that feels too! Thank you for the wonderful description.

One thing I wouldn't want to try is pepper spray! At least with a taser I know the pain will go away. :)

There is no way in hell I'd volunteer to be tased. Brave? Yes. Crazy? Maybe so. LOL

Wow. I have known people who HAD to be tased for the training, but I didn't know anyone could volunteer for it. This probably shouldn't have made me laugh, but it did. :)
