So yeah, got my septum pierced. Stung a bit, not least because the overblown nail technician creased a line out of the cartilage. My regular place turned me away because they don't do septums anymore, too much chance for them to be not straight and stuff. I respect that, but really wanted one, so went to Blue Banana (Americans: read 'hot topic').

It's not supposed to go through the cartilage, although mine creases it slightly. Yeah, those things are cool - when it's healed I have a clear acrylic bar with flat-headed ends (like a roofing nail) lined up to take the place of the horseshoe bar I have in at the moment.

Torn between a tongue stud or stretching my earlobes out for the next one.
