How Much Longer Can This Go On?

Mar 24, 2009 23:14

My daughter, Anne, is in the hospital again. In a coma, again. They said she was hypothermic and nonresponsive when she was admitted. Her blood sugar was 1500.

I don't know what to do.

fear, diabetes, anne

Oh no 'wela...
She has my prayers.
I don't know what to say or what to tell you.
I'm sorry she's doing this to herself, for your sake as well as hers.

She didn't do it this time, the flu did. And ketoacidosis.

No, she's actually been quite upbeat the last few months--behaving and going to therapy.

This sounds like a horrible ordeal for all involved. I wish there was more I could do for you, and for her, than just offering words of sympathy and hope that she pulls through, and finds something to make her want to stick around.

Her previous record was 1347. AND she was up and walking around. Pissed off, but walking around.

Of course, she was a lot younger then.
