I learned how to knit a year and a half ago and I am struggling to finish a hat for my boyfriend [who has since then become my husband! :-/]. It's ALMOST done but I will definately need help from the mother-in-law who made me the most BEAUTIFUL hat last year. Wow! Those are spectacular!! I am impressed!

Oh, neat! What kind of hat? I was very lucky to learn knitting so early that the basics seem to be hardwired into me, even if I have to review all the other stuff every time I pick up a project. You should teach Molly! That's about how old I was when I started. She'll be a knitting rock star when she gets older if she likes it!
