The words "one week anniversary" were not in Weiss's vocabulary (thankfully), but he couldn't help but be pleased that he'd been with Parker (in whatever context, let the lawyers decide) for seven whole days.

He's finishing up some homework. Studious guy.

Parker's never thought in those terms. It took her a few months to catch on when she dated Jarod longer than anyone before her. Still, she's kind of glad that this thing, whatever it is, is going well so far.

She knocked on the door, bag in hand, kimono wrapped around her already. Her homework was already done by Thursday night.

Weiss opened the door. "Hey," he said, grinning.

"Would you believe me if I told you that there's no heat in my room, the plumbing's been turned off, and they think it might flood in the next hour or so?" Parker tried to look pathetic and woebegone, but the smile lurking around the edges probably undercut that.

"Only because you're hot and in a kimono," Weiss said, his face the portrait of seriousness.
