I was never really a fan of Ran when Aya was out of commission, but quite like the idea of writing him now that's back amongst the living. So I had to include a bit of that in the fic. Glad you liked that!

Thank you for coming up with this prompt! The second I saw it, I pretty much went and wrote the fic, haha. It just called to me! I think it's actually the first time I've ever written anything with Weiss. I think I may have to do more of this, of Schwarz messing with their heads.
