SO MUCH love for your ruthless Brad! And the fact that you structured this fic around what remains one of my favourite WK scenes -- Takatori taking to Schuldig with a nine-iron :Db
That was quite a request you made! This story got away from me, just a bit. Turns out it takes a lot of words to make Weiss canon make sense!
Writing Brad was so much fun, though. I usually just write Farf with a side of Schuldig, but I really had a great time slipping into that stone cold bastard's head. Thanks for the opportunity!
This is beautiful. Crawford at his absolute best! The implicit trust between them despite the lies that are necessary, lovely. I might mention that I really enjoyed the subtle references to Nagi's future here and there.
I'm glad you liked it! I was worried the bits with Nagi's future were too subtle... basically, Crawford sees the rest of the team dying in the museum, but Nagi lives, and that's good enough for him. Because even stone cold bastards have soft sports, right? :D
And finally the beating from hell has a reason behind it. Genius. And I love that series of might-be-might-not futures Crawford sees at the end as the collar is slipped.
I really loved this! You should write Brad and Schuldig more often. ;) I like how you took that infamous golf club scene and just ran with it. The terrible machinations of Crawford's mind feel so chillingly real here.
