I have a thing for post-apocalyptic stories, and this was a fascinatingly dark take on Eszett succeeding. Interesting that Crawford hadn't considered it might not work out in their favor. And poor Nagi.

Those creatures sound totally creepy!

Thank you! I think the end of the world probably wouldn't have been the barrel of laughs Schwarz seemed to be expecting . . .

Yeah, that always confused me. They wanted to cause complete lawless anarchy but somehow didn't think they'd get caught in the crossfire? Schwarz is too smart for that.

*Drives the truck through another canon plothole* XD.

Oh awesome, awesome, awesome! Thank you so much, I really enjoyed it and the amount of world-building is glorious, and Schwarz interaction as well. (Esp. love how you managed to make Nagi sound like the sullen teenager he is in the middle of the bloddy apocalypse). Will be back with more appreciation and quotes in a couple of day, I'm having a bit of a stressful holiday season this year. Thank you so much again, and happy holidays!

I love how vulnerable their powers have made them in this scenario - the one thing they were never trained for.

I still think that in an end-of-the-world situation, I’d like to be on Schwarz’ side (if they didn’t kill me first). :3

This was heartbreaking and intense, and I loved it from the first line. Poor Nagi can’t seem to catch a break, and I agree with him that it would take the end of the world to make Crawford apologize twice. You are always a genius at creating such vivid worlds in your stories, and you did it again here. I really want to know what happened to these guys and what they had to do to survive. Er, they did survive, right?
