Glad you enjoyed! Your prompt just spoke to me and I got carried away by it. I actually finished it before we were even able to claim stuff for the bonus round!

One of those fics that has balance of power written all over it. :) I like that Schuldig asserts his power, it would be fun to see a sequel of how Brad ends up taming his lion. :D

I LOVE that last line. ♥!

I love their balance of power! Crawford is secure enough in his style of leadership to not feel threatened by Schuldig's aggressiveness. He understands Schuldig's motivation early on - he needs to feel as though he's on equal footing and he needs to feel important. That's all he wants. and that works well for Crawford since he's not into micro managing and constantly watching over his team members.

Glad you liked that last line. It made my Schu muse feel quite powerful.

Wild thing... I think I love you...

I just couldn't help but fixate on Schultz. Why is Schuldig so dear to him? Why is the insolent little brat allowed that much freedom? What scrutiny did Schultz use in choosing Crawford?

Wonderful tease since it left me wanting more! :)

Why thank you! Glad you fixated on Schultz so much, since I have been contemplating writing a prequel to this dealing with Schuldig and Herr Schultz! There is a backstory, of course.

I guess I'd also have to include Crawford's activities during that time as well to explain why Schultz thought they'd make a good match on a team. I will plan for this! Add it to my pile of stories to write. :)

Interesting! There's a lot hinted at in the background -- there's a clear history that you're privy to but we're not. It doesn't affect the storytelling at all, though. I think it just makes it a little bit more real. Yay!
