What has been your experience with Rocky Horror?
I watched it with my aunt when I was about 4 years old

When did you first start going? Do you still go?
When I was 17, I worked with my ex as Magenta (he played Rocky). I still catch it whenever I can

Were you ever sacrificed as a virgin? What method did they use?
No, but I've sacrificed plenty of them :D

Have you ever worked a performance as a cast member or part of the tech crew?
Cast member AND Tech crew. I worked as Magenta for a while, then as Janet, then while in college, I was the Filmographer :D

People threw TP at me and squirted me (with _water_).

- Saw it first in junior high...man, was that 17 years ago? Sheesh.

- I haven't been to a showing in years, but I used to go nearly every weekend.

- Yup. At the hometown theatre where I grew up, everyone was. It typically involved a lot of skin, mild beating, and ridicule.

- That hometown was kinda small, so cast roles were done by 'whoever showed up and knew the parts'. It was a few years before a core group of us took over the jobs. I played Frank twice a week for a year, one year (3x on Halloween), and I've done most of the other parts, too, at one time or another.

I also own an old VHS copy of Shock Treatment.

Is Shock Treatment worth watching?

If you're a big fan of RHPS or Richard O'Brien, sure. For a good laugh and some more catchy songs, sure.

Otherwise, it's just cheesy. *shrug*

I happen to completely love Shock Treatment. It's better if you see it more than once. If you think about it, it was ahead of its time- it completely mocks reality tv and our addiction to entertainment. But you have to go in with an open mind. It's very different from RHPS.
