My internet has been sporadic today, and really really annoying. I have also been frustrated by other things but let's not get into that now. I have a backlog of memes I kind of want to do so I guess I'll just do them here.

Great memes! Too bad I have done them all except the fanfiction one! I don't write enough fanfic to have it tell me much of anything!

I love Hedley! If you get the chance you should get more.. I need more! I only have 12 songs by them. But I love the ones I have!

I snapped my achilles walking up a 3 stairs on my way to a Kinky Freidman book signing. Wondering why it flopped around. Drove to his concert that night, wondered why I couldn't work the brakes on the car easily. Decided the next morning to see the physio who'd previously helped my twisted ankle only to be told what I'd done and I'd be off work a couple of months!

They sent me to a sports medicine clinic and they asked surgery or gravity, so I chose surgery and spent 2 months wandering around in a boot and crutches and bored myself lying on the sofa -bloody marvellous! Loved it! I got a new job in the meantime and my hubby buggered off to Aussie for 10 days, and that was the hardest. So I feel for Beckham, it hurts like hell and there's no way you can speed the recovery.

Yes, its the strongest tendon in the body apparently but many people injure it. :/

Stupid, eh? I hadn't known anyone with a snapped achilles and I just thought, gee it hurts and I can't stand on it but it's okay and the twisted ankle actually hurt more... Being recommended to the sports clinic was great as they lead the way (in NZ, I suspect it would be much the same over there) in helping recover from it. I nearly LOLed when the doctor said that I wouldn't be doing any sport for some time. I was like yeah, there goes my ice skating career... Seriosuly, I'm such a blob, I don't know what sport he thought I was into. Channel surfing back then would have been it I think.

Haha, I see. Yes, I think sports clinics and doctors specialising in sport know more about it, it tends to happen a bit in AFL sport over here..
