AHAHA, that is so true! I've found that attitude on lj as well. And I'm often one of those people. I had someone tell me once that I could just write the fic for the pairing myself and I didn't reply, but I was thinking, 'Wtf, that's so not the point, I'm lazy, okay, WRITE FIC FOR ME, PEOPLE.'

We are too lazy and then complain about it not being there. Though, I do see some people try and take a fandom into their own and nobody follows. Which is sad.

Sometimes I need to see how someone else has written a certain pairing or fandom to see how I like it written and maybe help me decide on a voice/style I want for it.

Your posts get later and later! I went to bed at 3am actually...but my internet was being super annoying. It used to be flawless and now every five minutes I have to reconnect. >_< So annoying when it goes down as I hit reply to a comment. (ETA. Happened just now, ugh)

Anyway, back OT, Gifted Man fan, eh? Who do you like? I watched the first few eps but my problem is that I like the main dude, hate the ghost and ship him with the tech girl who shows up for like, one or two scenes and then disappears. And then I got miffed when they introduced another main female (even though I'm glad for Rachelle that she's got a role, IDK if it's recurring or whatever), so I flounced off, lol.

ALSO, I FEEL YOUR PAIN- WHY IS THERE NO ALCATRAZ COMM? I LOVE THIS SHOW, WHERE IS THE FANDOM?

Yeah, ex-wife is pretty annoying/creepy/weird/whatever. :P I found I liked the main guy more than I thought I would, which is good, since he's practically in every scene! Hm, blondish tech girl at the start? Or more brunette tech/nurse who sees him again talking to himself? I knew about Rachelle before hand otherwise I may have been annoyed by the whole 'let's give him a live female to examine/flirt with' thing. xD

It's a prepaid internet thingy on a usb, so it's something I plug in whenever I want to use it. And it's frustrating me so much, 'coz I'll put it in and connect the internet, then sometimes five minutes later it'll be down and I have to click 'connect' again. >_THANK YOU. I get the feeling we're meant to see her as a saint and she's here to ~redeem the main guy for being a douchebag and I'm like HE SPENT YEARS TRAINING TO BE A DOCTOR, I DON'T THINK IT'S UNREASONABLE TO WANT TO BE PAID FOR HIS SERVICES. IT DOESN'T MAKE HIM AN ASSHAT IF HE WON'T GIVE AWAY MEDICAL CARE FOR FREE, STFU. And there's this part of me that thinks she's Sekritly Ebil and she's there to suck out his soul or something. Because she's so selfish about how she needs him blah blah blah and like, YOU'RE DEAD, HE OWES YOU NOTHING and ugh. *fumes* She's messing up his life, she can't have expect that he'll do anything for her and yet she's so pushy

I think at the start few eps that's what they were going for and maybe even overall...

But in the last few eps I've seen I've gotten the slight impression that she's not happy to be there trying to make him do things for her... Plus, yes, she is a slightly evil ghost. Though I want her to try and haunt her ex or something funny

Yeah, that was slightly interesting to me, but yes, she hasn't been seen since.

I guess the addiction would be a bit like Twitter, I can't remember what it is. But the instant aspect of it. And I guess its more visual? So you get daily doses of 'pretties' or funnies. *shrugs*

Everything Patrick Wilson needs more attention imho. I only watched the first eppy, but I still plan on watching more. I'm also a bit biased since I have a crush on the man's singing voice. I have too many shows on my list and not enough time. I like waiting until I know there's gonna be a second season (or a decent ending to the first for that matter). Helps avoid heartbreak. Ugh. X_X

Yeah, know that feeling. To-watch/read list is never ending and no time for it all.

I just jump on dying ships (so to speak!) with shows that only last one season but I have come to terms with it. Though it would be nice if a show I never expected to last got another season or two. :P
