Hobbit trailer.. haven't watched, but I've seen it on fb and lj from just about everyone I know. And I have no intention of watching. Kept falling asleep trying to watch LotR, so... yeah. :/

I go on/off about it tbh. And if no one wants to go with me it could be one that I end up not seeing at the cinema, though ultimately I think I'd prefer to watch it there (I haven't re-watched any of the others since) than at home/dvd...

Yeah. It's the first of their changes that's really just irked me. Am glad it hasn't affected ALL comment pages. Just the non-customized ones.

Yep. I wanted to get into it, and tried the books a few times, but not my kinda thing. A few too many mainstream actors in the movies too, IMO..

Mainstream? Hm, I guess. But back then some weren't as mainstream or popular/known in my opinion. I only became aware of people like Orlando Bloom through LOTR, and then he got all these 'lighter' roles.

In this latest one, yes, I can see that. But I love (and so many others seem to) like the idea of Martin Freeman as Biblbo and Cumberbatch as a dragon's voice along with all the others who will pop up as elves or whatnot.

That new comment thingy is really annoying.
The userpics showing might be nice but completely unnecessary. We didn't have that before and no one complained. Don't need that now. *yuck*

Aha, I think they should have it as optional like with paid accounts you can choose when to preview the userpics before choosing via text or the pic.

I haven't been commenting anywhere yet, so I haven't seen the worst of it, but yeah, I have no idea why anyone would think these changes to be good.

I hadn't been planning to go see the Hobbit, but this trailer is making me start reconsidering. And I hope I can have that dwarf song on my mp3 player one day soon.

So you know how you posted that vid "Celebrity Status" by Marianas Trench awhile back? I've kinda gotten a bit addicted to them. And also? They're touring with Simple Plan in 2012. XD
If they come to Australia (dates not up yet, but in Sept '11 concert SP said they'll be back in '12), I might get to see them live too. XD
