I think I re-started my computer three times today with numerous updates, uninstalls and things.

AND AFTER SIX PLUS MONTHS I FINALLY HAVE THE NEW WINDOWS LIVE ESSENTIALS INSTALLED PROPERLY.

Yep. That was the main reason for me doing the whole upgrade/download in the first place but it never worked because of conflicts.

I still might be switching between my yahoo address/yahoo messenger and/or Windows Live Messenger but I should be using the later more often now it is running.
