Is everyone quite done with talking about this silly holiday?

[ Senjogahara, for her part, has one single bag of giri choco that she picked up almost on a whim, and before yesterday was over, it had been thrown in the trash bin of her apartment. There was also a batch of honmei choco that she made in Araragi's memory, then proceeded to eat as an ( Read more... )

I'm not sure I'd call it silly, Hitagi-sama.

It's a problem, however, because I have nothing to trust except for your word. If I don't have any faith in that, what's to say to me that you won't break such an agreement if it proves to be more convenient?

But how do you know if you can trust something before it's tested? Give it a shot!

Or I could take the safer route and not put any trust in you at all.

The fountain in half an hour.

I'll see you there, Hiiitagi-sama.

[With a little wave at the book, even. He assumes she needs something to get ready before then]

Senjogahara.

[ It's a matter of principle. And of course she needs to get ready. If she's being irrational, she's at least not going to be stupid about it. Why yes, she is going to be bringing an arsenal on this date, why do you ask?

Also, she needs to change her shirt. This one is completely unsuited if she's going to be seen walking around with a boy. ]

[At least Masaomi never needs to think that much. After all, it's just white hoodie, undershirt, and them some ridiculously colored pants. But that said... a date with Hitagi! Or an outing, it's probably not fair to call it a date because of who she is. ...Maybe.

...In any case though, mostly because he has no real other things to do he's going to head over there. But. To be fair to her because it's usually good to allow girls these things, he's not going to be at the meeting spot to allow her to show up first. Instead he'll hide out a little ways off in one of the shops. So he can "show up" right after her.

This is a cunning plan]

[ Well, that's a bit too bad, because she's going to show up ten minutes later than she specified. Obviously, it's the duty of the man to wait in these sorts of situations, and who would actually expect a girl to be on time when she clearly has more social expectation to prepare for such an event? ]

... Hm.

[That is a major backfire in his plan. But. He does come out of the grocery about now... with a bag of potato chips in his hands and makes his way towards the fountain. How to spin this to not but either of them at fault... him]

Hiiitagi-sama~!

Hm. That was an awfully casual apology for being late on our first date. I shouldn't be surprised, but I suppose you really don't have more sense about you. That's disappointing, and a poor indicator of our future prospects together.

[ also she is now holding a stapler casually in her left hand. ]

...A date?
