they're yellowstone employees. pissing on old faithful for them is the equivalent of working in an office park and pissing all over your company's sign/logo at the entrance. i'd be surprised if any company would keep you after you pissed on their corporate logo.

plus if they were regular visitors that got caught inside the fence they would have been booted from the park. it's a consistent application of the rules. if they were on the webcam and didn't get punished, then there would be a flood of fools looking to try the same stunt.

Growing up in that area, and having friends own a lodge during the time, the land is pretty unstable there. It's like walking on lava bridges. Wouldn't even want to take the risk. And you're right, animals have more common sense then those dooods. They deserved to be fired.
