Our ginormous, fugly, 8-year-old goldfish Pig died today. He'd been poorly for the past couple of weeks.

I'll miss the creepy old guy.

I'm sorry, ma'am. We sent the turtle we were turtle-sitting home today and I miss her, even though we had her for about two weeks.

Oh, I'm actually sad! I remember when Fenris brought him home and he looked like every loser fish in a plastic bag. We all figured he'd live ten weeks, tops. He turned out to be such a scrapper. Plus, he had that Cheerio-shaped mouth, as you so drolly observed. Awww, I'll miss him too. Daphne
