Gothic kittens???

Some people are too stupid and/or mean to live.

Seriously, what kind of an asshat does such a thing to helpless kitties? This is one of the most ridiculous (not to mention sadistic) things I've seen in a long time.

Since we're on this subject, I may as well vent about "body modifications" in animals in general. I wish the U.S. would make it illegal ( Read more... )

animals, weird stuff, dogs

That's just disgusting. I don't get people like that and I don't want to get people like that.

I'll defend cropping Danes ears. It gives them the Dane "look" and cuts waay down on the ear infections. We dealt with lots of infections when we were a foster family for Dane rescue. Trying to get drops into a hurt/scared Dane, that out-weights (hopefully) you, is no fun.
As for the yo-yo's with the kittens. . . there's a special place in hell for them.

Well, of course, I'm not against surgery that improves an animal's quality of life, or prevents them from breeding all over the place. All of my animals are neutered. Well, not the fish, but he dosn't have a girlfriend in the tank with him.

I actually did have my old dog girl Carmen's dew-claws removed, after the third time she nearly ripped one of them off while digging. I'm pretty sure she didn't miss them.

I secretly sympathize with the concept of docking big dogs' tails. I mean, I'd never have it done, but we call Jack's tail the Tail O Death, because he routinely smacks people in the legs with it and sweeps everything off the coffee table! But pitties with floppy ears and long tails are SOOOOO CUUUUUUUTE!

OH MAH GAH! The angel/peacock poodle is my fave! That rocks my world. If I had the time (and a really patient dog) I'd consider some dog-painting art.
