So Daniel and I were watching this beatifully made documentary about Qin Shi Huan, the first emperor of China. It was an excellent and absorbing production. Toward the end, we discover that Qin Shi Huan, in his quest for immortality, was accidentally poisoned by his court alchemists. They had convinced him that drinking large amounts of mercury

There was this show series on cable called "The war" for a while. The show would always start with "The war was brought to you by....G.M." or the Carnege foundation, or the like. Made me laugh every time.
