A decidedly wrung-out Ben tapped quietly at Tahiri's door.

Tahiri didn't look in much better shape when she came to answer his knock. "You look like you just went ten rounds with a rancor," she said, leaning against the door.

"He prefers to be called Anakin Skywalker," Ben said, "but pretty much."

"Ouch." She took a step back to let him in, assuming he meant lightsaber practice. "I was going to come down and watch, but I wasn't sure. Are you okay?"

"Nothing the galaxy's longest nap won't cure," he assured her. "Have you met with Karla yet?" He looked into her eyes. "Or just having a really bad morning?"

"I did." The strain probably showed in her eyes as she met his gaze. "It was . . . draining. I might sleep the rest of the day, now."

Going a few rounds with his grandfather, both with lightsabers and without had been equally draining.

"Want to talk about it at all?" he murmured.

"Do you?" she returned, if for no reason other than to subtly (well, as subtly as she ever did) point out that she could tell he was upset about something too. "Well, don't just stand there, come on in," she added almost shyly. Things were still a bit awkward.

"Not really," Ben admitted, reaching out for her hand.

Tahiri looked a little crestfallen about that (but bit back the flash of annoyance), but took his hand gratefully and gave it a quick squeeze, trying to tug him into the room and shut the door. "She knows now. About what happened to me back on Yavin, I mean."

Ben let in a little hiss of air. "Do you think it will help at all?"

"I don't know. I hope so." Her voice was still a bit shaky. "Force, that wasn't fun."

Ben reached out to hug her.

Tahiri wrapped her arms around him and held on tightly. "Hi. I needed that."

"Me too," Ben said, rubbing her back.

"Bad day, huh?" She kind of meant both of them by that.
