Tahiri'd been incredibly unsettled since Sunday, when the latest bout of island weirdness had worn off. Ben could close his eyes and point to her anywhere on the island and could tell when she was unhappy.

He just wasn't sure she wanted to talk to him about it. So he made his way down to the beach, found a rock nearby--but not too close, he didn't think either of them were really ready for that--and waited quietly for her to make the next move.

Tahiri knew he was there, of course; if there was any one Force presence on the island that she could pick out without trying, it would be Ben's. If anything, that was only making her feel worse today, not better.

"Hey," she said quietly, not opening her eyes. She didn't draw in further on herself, but she wasn't exactly reaching out to him either.

"If you're mad at me, I don't blame you, you know." Tahiri could be blunt (and a little bit dumb) at the best of times, and now not being one of those, well. Being able to sense him so easily wasn't helping matters much either, especially what she was picking up. Tentatively, she offered, "You don't have to sit a million miles away, though."
