Ben went...well, it wouldn't be polite to say "racing", even though it was...up to Tahiri's room after dumping his robe in his own room. He slowed down as he got closer. "Problems?" he asked, moving to wrap his arms around her from behind.
"Because it hates us," Ben said, moving her hair to drop kisses against her neck. This new angle had him contemplating all sorts of things he'd be mortified to think about later.
Tahiri would probably die later when she remembered this, but she sort of forgot all about the lock and reached back to run a hand through his hair. "Well, it's a perfectly nice door," she mumbled hazily.

Honestly, it shouldn't have been that hard, but now she was extra distracted, and leaning back into him.
