i was driving (what else?) and heard it unfold.
utter disbelief.

well, not so much anymore...i'm getting used to the surrealism of it i think.

thank you!!!

i wish my mother would return my pages/emails/calls. [she's in wisconsin, so no worries about her, i just would like to know either way if she's heard anything from the brother.]

thanks. its interesting to hear back from people on that coast. everyone's been tallying up friends and family in nyc, calling and writing and seeing who checks in.

in a way, its good. i'm talking to people i haven't contacted in a long time. and they're all alive and well.

::hug:: I'm glad your parents are ok. I know how wrecked I was worrying about someone that I knew rationally was almost certainly not in danger. I can't begin to imagine how it mst've been to worry about people who were really in danger.

my parents were pretty good about letting someone know immediately that they were ok ... strange, i've always laughed at them for getting to work so early.

i'm considering waking up at 5 am from now on. the early bird avoids the falling building?
