You know, it was refreshing to see a fic with Dean and Castiel together and yet, not "together". As a non-shipper of this pair, their friendship, to me, speaks volumes over anything physical. And what's wrong with men hugging in a show of deeper friendship? NOTHING, I tell ya.

This story tugged at my heart-strings, deepened my sadness for their future, for the what-could-be's and what-might-be's and what they can't-let-be's.
