We're having another kind a disaster here in the US.

We're only getting the edge of them here, it is the people in the north of Canterbury that are really suffering this time.

I guess the difference between your disaster and our disaster is ours is natural, while yours is man-made. Which makes yours worse than ours because at least we can say nothing we did caused this, and it isn't our fault.
