OK, you two love birds. Next year you need to come to Richmond and see Maymont -- I recommend May or April if we have a warm spring. It's a Victorian estate that was left to the city to be a park, and many of the gardens are preserved as they were a century ago. Also, there's a barn area (because the Dooleys had a working dairy farm on their property) so if you come in April or May, you can see baby pygmy goats and other, equally adorable small creatures. (Ash will probably be one of them.)

We do also have a few nice restaurants and places to dance. Just a suggestion!

As much as I dislike most of the state of VA (red state), a trip to Richmond is a distinct possiblity. I will keep you posted. Maymont sounds like our kind of place!

My best friend from High School got married at Maymont, but I didn't get to see much of it. I'd love to go back. The wisteria covered gazebo and trellis were beautiful.

Space Mountain!

And Green Bananas (I love my banans, well, slightly green).

Those are some awesome pictures, and now I wanna go! I've never been to the MGM park, only to disney, but damn that Aerosmith coaster looks fun.

How much do you have to pay to get your "screaming" picture?

and I was laughing reading about the diner. You almost made it :) I'll try to remember that if I manage to get down there.

Yeah, the only thing I was sad about not going to the Magic Kingdom for was Space Mountain. But the rock n' roller coaster really blows it out of the water.

I think the "screaming" picture is just under $20. Take a picture of the picture = priceless.

Hehehehe.

And I love space mountain (used to hate it when I was wittle)! If you say the rock and roller is better, now I'm really curious :D

I'm glad you enjoy reading and looking at the pix :) The Orlando/Kissimmee area is definitely nice to visit...lots of stuff to do. This past 5 day trip was the most time we had spent there in a while and I was afraid we wouldn't find enough to do, but was proven wrong! You should definitely check out MGM next time. Do you like thrill rides?

Oo! A Buddha's hand! They used one of those on Iron Chef America once. Apparently it's a citrus fruit like a lemon. Just odder looking. :D

The only reason we even knew what it was was because of Iron Chef. Otherwise, our reactions would've been shocked. It's just so WEIRD!

I'm trying to remember which episode I saw it in. Was it challange Honey? (That one was very cool, BTW).
